Although John Cena missed the first pay-per-view Smackdown with Backlash, Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio Cena is scheduled to be back at No Mercy on October 9. Another Cena vs AJ Styles match was planned but we do not know if AJ winning the World Title at Backlash WWE has changed those plans with Cena.
