Recently, Catch in the Daily reported that WWE officials wanted a majority of women for the various positions of the next tournament of the federation. The Mae Young Classic, in tribute to the wrestler, will bring together 32 wrestlers from around the world for a tournament that will be broadcast on the WWE Network this summer.
For this tournament, the WWE seeks to put up women at the table of commentators, but also to the post of referee. To fulfill this position, WWE signed Kennadi Brinkn to work as a referee. She recently participated in her first live event this weekend at NXT. It should take place at the Mae Young Classic.
