Phillips who welcomes us. Then Tommaso Ciampa arrives in the ring, on the crutches and under the boos. Ciampa says he would like to take a moment to ask Johnny Gargano to come here, he owes explanations. Ciampa says it's true, Gargano is not here tonight. We do not like it, do we want to replace it? He'll tell us more about being replaced. Since the last few weeks he has learned more life lessons than in 22 years. Just before TakeOver he suffered an injury, we wanted to know if he could fight.
Ciampa said he knew he was going to fight, they're here for that, DIY was two guys fighting. People began to replace him with dream partners for Gargano as he was thought to be injured. It took a day to replace him. He forgot that and he looked at Gargano saying they were going to fight for TakeOver. We got to the Ladder Match at TakeOver and they fought. During the Ladder Match he took a fall from the ladder and he felt something broken in his knee. He knew it was serious, he knows the difference between pain and an injury. He continued to fight for us and his best friend. In the end he realized that Gargano would also replace him as we were going to do. He could not let it happen, he knew what to do. It's not his fault, but our fault and the fault of Gargano. They had something special with DIY. If he had gone for a long time, Gargano would also be gone for a very long time. DIY had to be special, they were looking for the moment and TakeOver had to be. TakeOver Chicago was finally his own moment. He is 32 and he knows he can not be replaced on this ring. We can only replace the fans as he never needed us. Ciampa says he'll come back stronger and he'll be the most dangerous bastard of NXT.
