As you could see at WWE Backlash Sunday night, it was the team of Natalya, Carmella and Tamina who won the victory against Naomi, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch thanks to the submission by Natalya on Becky Lynch.
As a result, Dave Meltzer told the Wrestling Observer Radio that Natalya should be the next trainer at Naomi's WWE SmackDown Women's Championship in the near future. That's what would explain why it was she who won her team's victory at Backlash.
After a while, there were rumors that Charlotte Flair was going to make a Heel Turn at Backlash and so have a championship game against Naomi a few weeks later. This plan has apparently disappeared and so we should have Natalya against Naomi for the belt in a short time and probably at Money In The Bank.
