NEW RUMORS CONCERNING JINDER MAHAL'S REIGN AND THE RETURN RETURN

Jinder Mahal will hold the WWE Championship at least a month since his next title defense will take place at Money in the Bank. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Mahal's reign could be longer than expected, and the Maharaja could thus retain the WWE Championship until Summerslam and even later.

Indeed it is unlikely that Randy Orton takes the belt at the next PPV, which will not make much sense. In addition Mahal's reign and Backlash's shock gave a boost to Smackdown and gave another image of the WWE which are very positive points.

Finally it is known that the federation will hold a tour in India in September, and to see Mahal with the supreme title would obviously be a big advantage to penetrate the Indian market.

Many rumors circulate about the return of Rusev, who had originally requested a title match at Money in the Bank, which will not happen. Cagesideseats.com reports that it could be added to the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, for which only six participants were announced and a seventh would not be a surprise.

It should be noted that the biggest smackdowns will fight for the briefcase and if Rusev is added to the PPV, it is hard to imagine fighting a 'midcarter' in view of his recent threats to Shane McMahon.
