Some of you have probably already found several sites or services no longer work for a few hours as the WWE Network, Netflix, Spotify, Ebay, or the PlayStation Network. This is due to a computer attack against a service provider, the company Dyn, which bridges the gap between IP addresses and names of websites.
The attack took the form of a distributed denial of service (DDoS). A cyber attack which is to make an unavailable server by overloading or requests by monopolizing the resources to exhaustion using Bots. Access problems that seemed to be solved in the late afternoon, resumed in the early evening. Several sites are still disrupted, including Europe. The US authorities announced investigate the origin of these attacks.
