The Raw roster was a rare break this weekend before Raw before their overseas tour in Chile, Peru and Ecuador from 5 to 8 October. As we noted earlier, Luke Harper is expected to face Sami Zayn in the tour so he could appear on Raw Monday. Harper has not appeared on WWE screens since his injury in March.
WWE has officially announced that the Royal Rumble return to the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas Sunday, January 29 2 017. The last two times that the pay-per-view was in San Antonio was in 1997 in front of 60,525 spectators , which is still the largest attendance for this show. Stone Cold won the Royal Rumble Match while Shawn Michaels won the WWF Title Sycho Sid. And in 2007, which saw The Undertaker won the Royal Rumble Match.
