Promos that aired on Raw for the new Cruiserweight Division which will start Monday's show indicated that Gran Metalik, Akira Tozawa, Jack Gallagher, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Cedric Alexander, Rich Swann, Brian Kendrick, Noam Dar and TJ Perkins will be in the Division. WWE announced today that the following names were announced to join the Perkins Cruiserweight Champion on Raw:
- Brian Kendrick
- Rich Swann
- Gran Metalik
- Cedric Alexander
- Lince Dorado
- Noam Dar
The others will join these names soon.
As seen at Backlash and Smackdown, Intercontinental Champion The Miz told the General Manager Daniel Bryan that he wanted to renegotiate his contract. Miz tweeted an update of the storyline:
"I'm happy ... I'm delighted to announce that your Intercontinental Champion has entered the expected long renegotiations with the General Manager of Smackdown Live Daniel Bryan. "
