The Pro Wrestling Illustrated will like every year, publishing his list of the 500 best wrestlers in the world, based on the period from 01 July to 30 June of the year.
For this 26th ranking, Roman Reigns is the No. 1 magazine journalists justified this choice by the achievements of Reigns, who took three times the WWE (Survivor Series, Raw and the 12/14/15 Wrestlemania 32), in addition to victories against AJ Styles at Extreme Rules, or Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose Fastlane.
The rest of the ranking will be unveiled later. The PWI is respected and valued throughout the world, and is the largest wrestling magazine. Last year Seth Rollins was the No. 1 while Reigns was fourth.
Journalists also expected a sharp negative reaction of the fans, and did not wait to speak:
"Reigns is not the sexiest choice, but it was chosen thanks to its achievements during the evaluation time. We believe this is the right choice. "
Note also on the cover a touch of humor with a "Half of you will hate this! "(Half of you will hate that!)
