As you all know now, Finn Balor was injured during his match against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam that year and was expected to be absent from the ring for WWE about eight to nine months. The initial diagnosis was he returns between four to six months in the ring in WWE, however, the operating doctors discovered that his injury was more serious than expected.
When his back in the ring for WWE Royal Rumble was virtually erased rumors, his return to WrestleMania 33 would be possible but nothing is confirmed yet.
