WWE SmackDown show begins with a video of Sunday's event at WWE Backlash. The new WWE World Champion AJ Styles then comes to the ring. AJ says that the champion is here! He does not say it, then he will shout, "we were told." Everything he said he did. He said he was going to beat John Cena, he did at SummerSlam. He became the face that runs the place. He said he would beat Dean Ambrose, he did it at Backlash to become the new World Champion. We better believe if he says he can beat Cena and Ambrose with one arm tied behind his back. If we say that the sky is green there is no need to look out, it's green. Her lips do not lie, the title proves. It is the face that runs the place and he is the champion who runs the camp. The music of John Cena begins and comes to the ring.
Cena says you can hear people, they know what he knows. AJ has something that belongs to him and he would find him. AJ gives the cuff Cena and throws him to the ground. He does not need it, he is the World Champion. Cena says that he still has something that belongs to him. The bad newz is he wants to resume (the title). The best champion said that must beat the man to be the man. If he can get the title again it will be in conversation with the man. He can not think of a better person to AJ history. Cena says that he has a purpose in the WWE and the 16-time champion is here! The music of Dean Ambrose starts and arrives. Ambrose enters the ring before AJ. Ambrose says that AJ has made the biggest mistake of his life Sunday night. Losing a title it happens, but AJ stole him by hitting him below the waist. AJ life will change now that he is his enemy.
Ambrose says he will take what is his and ... Cena returns Ambrose. Cena says Ambrose complains after a low blow. Stone Cold was right when he caused on his podcast. It is also surprised that Ambrose fell after the low blow. He proved that he has no cojones. Ambrose says he has to go wrong, it crazy what Cena thinks or says. He has no patience for Cena and his speech. Cena is a part-time parasseux. Cena should enjoy his films or TV shows because Cena can not continue. WWE used it as a dog. Cena is good on TV or on a cereal box, Cena can not win the ring. Cena lost against AJ, then he can never win against him. He will never give up against a part-time Hollywood. Shane McMahon comes to the ring to calm things down. Shane says he must start by saying that AJ and Cena rocked the show at SummerSlam. AJ won cleanly against Cena, it is a great accomplishment. By cons, it's a little offensive to say he runs the place.
Shane said that everyone was standing at Backlash until that AJ took the easy way. He did not believe he would see a new champion as well. In the end, AJ is still the champion. Ambrose will have a rematch against a one at another time. At No Mercy Aj Styles will defend his title against John Cena and Ambrose in a Triple Threat Match! As emotions run high, that Ambrose and AJ will face Cena tonight and a partner of his choice if he can find one. If AJ can not find a partner, the General Manager will.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey) vs Hype Bros (Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley)
At the end of the bout, Jimmy made a Superkick to Mojo and Jey makes the Splash to cover for the win while Ryder was rung down the ring since his last appearance.

- The Miz and Maryse enters the ring. Miz says that for weeks Daniel Bryan and WWE Universe called him a coward. We can call it as you will, he left his wife and Backlash with the Intercontinental Title on his shoulder. The reign of Miz will never stop. Maryse says she is not about whether she understands. Ziggler demand a rematch for the Intercontinental Title. Miz asks silence the crowd boos his wife. Daniel Bryan comes on stage. Bryan said he could not stop talking while his wife spoke he is sorry. Maryse cheated at Backlash, the only reason why Miz is still champion. Ziggler will have his rematch! Miz says that Ziggler has not earned the right to be sucking from the beginning, there will be no rematch. He said at Backlash, he wants a new contract. Bryan will not have what he wants before he wants. The title will not be defended before what he wants. Bryan enters the ring and Miz decides to go out with the crowd.
- Backstage, AJ Styles crosses Baron Corbin. Corbin asks what he wants. AJ says he knows Corbin Crews must face, but something better. Corbin will be in a team with him. Corbin said he preferred to be his opponent, he wants that title.
- Back, Corbin Baron is in the ring. Apollo Crews arrived to confront him, but Corbin hit him in the back and gave him a End of Days down the ring! Jack Swagger comes to the ring to confront him, but Corbin decides to leave. Jack Swagger says SD Live is his new home. We may believe we know his skills in the ring, but we do not know Jack. - Back, the new female champion of SmackDown Becky Lynch comes to the ring. Charly asked how she feels since his victory. Becky said it was the fight of his life. She did nothing else in his life. She won against the five women to become the first champion. She is ready for the competition.
- Hoods WWE Women's Title - Fatal-5-Way Match
Naomi vs Nikki Bella vs. Natalya vs Alexa Bliss vs. Carmella
At the end of the fight, Nikki Bliss takes on his shoulders, but Carmella intervenes with a Superkick on Nikki! Bliss Carmella push down the ring and covers Nikki for the win while the other had struck down the ring.

- Backstage, AJ Styles and stops Kane said he just wanted a man like him. He needs a partner, the phenomenal team with the favorite demons. Kane starts laughing and goes.
- Back, Shane McMahon is in the ring for the contract signing. Shane says it's a special occasion, SD Live is the place of opportunities. A guy saw the opportunity and last Sunday he became the first champion Team SmackDown to earn a place in the show, Heath Slater. Slater comes to the ring with Rhyno. Shane congratulate both for victory. He is a man of words, it's time to make it official. Slater sign the contract! Slater said he would like to thank Shane and Bryan to realize that time. It take the opportunity to greet his wife, they will move to the largest. He also wants to thank his Rhyno guy. His partner, his friend and they are the tag team champions. They will confront anyone, anytime and anywhere. Eventually he wants to thank each of his children. Slater lists his children, but now The Ascension happens. Konnor said they could do it here. Viktor said they could do it now and they could face Ascension. Slater said he signed the contract, there is a carpet, a table, there is even no referee. Shane says it's a good time, we'll do it.

Heath Slater and Rhyno (c) vs. The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor)
At the end of the fight, Konnor breeze account. Slater applies a Sleeper but Konnor launches the bottom of the ring. Rhyno Konnor load it out. Rhyno makes with Gore Viktor to cover for the win.

- Backstage, AJ Styles crosses Daniel Bryan. Bryan asks if he found his partner. AJ says he does not need a partner. Bryan says he's sorry to hear that he has already found at least one partner. A local wrestler named James arrives. AJ refuses and leaves. Bryan told James it will be great.
- Back, Randy Orton comes to the ring. Orton says Bray Wyatt is just talk. Wyatt said he is the image of fear because fear Wyatt, Wyatt was afraid of him at Backlash. Wyatt attacked to end his career but it did not work. Wyatt was not the first to want to do it will not be the last. If Wyatt has balls he can come here to the ring to face his fear. Rowan Orton surprises with an RKO out of nowhere.
- Back, AJ comes first. James Ellsworth, local wrestler, then comes to the ring to team with AJ, but Miz comes in and strikes him in the back! Miz starts to rush shots and makes him a Skull Crushing Finale on stage saying it is the main event. Miz is in the ring to be with AJ.
- Tag Team Match
AJ Styles and The Miz vs. John Cena and Dean Ambrose
At the end of the bout, AJ wants to intervene, but Ambrose launches the bottom of the ring and starts in suicide jump. Cena made his Attitude Adjustment to Miz to cover for the win.
Winners: John Cena and Dean Ambrose
- After the match, Cena celebrates the victory, but Ambrose surprises with Dirty Deeds! The show ends with a celebration of Ambrose.
