WWE would like to organize a women's tournament to succeed the CWC with wrestlers from around the world who are not part of the WWE currently. The tournament could begin early in 2017.
Speaking tournament, WWE had planned a second edition of Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament, but it was canceled or postponed, it is unclear when it will take place but WWE wants to see this event return to NXT.

As already announced, Vince McMahon was injured during a training last week, he missed Backlash, Raw and Smackdown. He underwent surgery earlier this week as announced by WWE.
The Chairman was injured while lifting a heavy load by doing squats and tore a quadriceps. There is no further information, WWE wanting to remain discreet on the subject.
