As you know, Summer Rae is out of the WWE rings since August 2016 after suffering an injury but at the last news she would eventually be able to go up on the WWE rings.
Dave Meltzer said during his Wrestling Observer Radio that Summer Rae is ready to return to the WWE rings and was present in the WWE backstage last week. It has been said that the reason it has not yet come back is simply because WWE currently has no plan for it.
The feeling at the WWE is that the rosters of Raw and SmackDown Live have enough Womens to set up rivalries so WWE officials need to find a solution so that it makes its televised return as soon as possible. For now, we do not know yet which roster it will integrate on its return but we will nevertheless keep you informed.
