The last time we saw Triple H on the screens was there three weeks ago on RAW, in a Fatal Four Way for the vacant Universal WWE Championship. To everyone's surprise, Hunter turned against his protégé Seth Rollins and wished him a violent Pedigree, allowing Kevin Owens to win the title.
Until now, Triple H has not commented on the incident but that should soon be as it should return very quickly on screens. It is even possible that it be done this weekend at Clash of Champions, where Kevin Owens will defend his belt against Rollins.
From a storyline standpoint, there is no explanation for the moment it happened on RAW. But the official side, this betrayal could simply build a rivalry between the two men, leading to a match at Wrestlemania 33. This meeting should have taken place this year but plans were changed due to injury Seth Rollins.
