Shane McMahon revealed in the episode of Talking Smack that American Alpha will not face Heath Slater and Rhyno at Backlash this Sunday in the final of the tournament to crown the first Team Champions of the blue brand.
American Alpha was removed from the game because of a storyline injury that Chad Gable suffered on Smackdown by The Usos. He said Gable will be out of action 2 to 4 weeks after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament.
It was announced that the Hype Bros now face The Usos at Backlash this Sunday. The winners of this match will face Slater and Rhyno later in the evening to the Securities.
